SW Cafe Mirage(x2) at Kennedy and Highway 401 in Kennedy Commons
o As excellent date and dessert place, Cafe Mirage is good for a nice lunch or a latenight meal.

SW Coffee Culture at Markham and Ellesmere
o A chill coffee shop with lots of seating and nice pressed sandwiches.

NW Cora Breakfast & Lunch at McCowan and Milner
o I love breakfast, what can I say?

NW Markham Station at Markham and Sheppard
o A greasy sort of 24-hour breakfast/simple food place.

NW Remezzo Italian Bistro at Warden and Sheppard
o As a fine dining experience, Remezzo isn't up to par. But as a restaurant in Scarborough it's excellent--good food, good prices, good atmosphere, & complimentary bread.

SW St Louis Bar & Grill at McCowan and Town Centre Court
o An inventive bar with lots of seating. Fairly good food at fairly good prices.

SW Wild Wing at Kennedy and Highway 401 in Kennedy Commons
o Not the best service. Good wings with excellent flavours, but nothing much else.
o 0 / **** for a vegetarian and ** and a half / **** for meat-eaters

Caribbean:

NE Roti & Pelau at Lapsley and Sheppard
o I don't know much about roti and pelau, but I find this place excellent! Limited seating; more of a take-out place.

Chinese:

NW Best Friends Chinese Seafood Restaurant at Sheppard and McCowan-ish (Now is operated under a different name.)
o Just a regular dim sum serving restaurant. No carts, good food, and cheap.

o Dining Ease for Non-Chinese Speakers = Mediocre

NW Go for Tea at Midland and McNicoll
o A dimly-lit, romantic large establishment that serves all sorts of drinks (bubble tea, slushies, etc) and snacks (noodles, toast, etc). It's a tad pricey, though.

GSA Graceful Vegetarian Restaurant at Kennedy and Steeles
o A lovely, but pricey, restaurant that is chock full of mock meat and vegetarian/vegan dishes.

NW Mongolian Hot Pot at Midland and Finch
o You select your ingredients buffet-style. Expensive but very tasty!

o A busy, nicer Chinese restaurant with some really enticing dishes.

NW Star Walk Buffet at Midland and Steeles
o A good buffet with lots of choice and "authentic" Chinese dishes. The food isn't excellent, though.

NW Szechuan Legend at Midland and Finch
o "Authentic" Szechuan/Sichuan cuisine. I love the food here!

o My favourite dim sum place. It has a mix of carts and menus.

SW China Cottage at Pharmacy and Ellesmere
o Fresh ingredients but the food needs more flavour and spice. It has a nice classy atmosphere and it also serves Thai food.

SW Federick Restaurant at Bellamy and Ellesmere
o Though Federick's is the original Hakka restaurant in Scarborough, the food is kind of bland.

SE Lucky Chinese Restaurant at Scarborough Golf Club and Lawrence
o My Hakka favourite! Spicy, greasy, giant portions, excellent price.

NE Samosa King (Embassy Restaurant) at Middlefield and Finch
o A beautiful, delicious array of Indian treats, snacks and dishes. I want to go back!

NW Le Cafe Michi at Pharmacy and Sheppard
o A cozy and fresh Japanese restaurant. Authentic food and delicious desserts!

o This place is closed.

NW Ten-Ichi Japanese Restaurant at McCowan and Sheppard
o An expensive AYCE sushi and teppanyaki place. Excellent food and a classy atmosphere.
o *** / **** (The Scarborough in me gave it a low score because it's pricey.)

Rouge Park at the eastern border of Scarborough. There are various points of entry.
