Go for Tea at Midland and McNicoll

Go for Tea is a bubble tea place, located at Midland and McNicoll. Along with bubble tea, steeped tea, iced tea, slushies and smoothies, Go for Tea also serves meals, snacks and desserts.

Before entering the restaurant, this is the sign that greets you. (Bahaha!)

The drinks: pink = strawberry yogurt drink, orange = mango slush, white = coconut milk iced black tea.

I suppose this is standard at bubble tea places, but I love how you can order toast! On top is condensed milk and it was delicious! So sweet and fluffy.

I'm a sucker for creme brulee. It was definitely not the best creme brulee I've ever eaten, but it was good enough to eat and enjoy.

While us two girls shared the desserts, Kangdi ordered popcorn chicken. Crazy guy. It smelled kind of funny to me, but he liked it.

Go for Tea has a chic, modern kind of ambience. On the restaurant's website, it is described as a combination of "western and eastern culture." It's dark and romantically lit--a good place for a date with your significant other(s) or just a place to hang out with friends. It's also open until 3 a.m. for those with a midnight craving.

All these snacks cost about $45. It's a little pricey, but the excellent atmosphere makes up for it. However, keep in mind that it is a tad on the dim and noisy side.

I'll give a strong ***/****.

I wrote that and realized it sounded dirty. But was too tired to change it and took a nap. It's disappearing now ;)
